Power Skating and Stickhandling Sessions
Power skating sessions allows the hockey players to work on various skating techniques.
Players who participate in the program will improve their
skating techniques through a series of repetitive exercises with or without
a puck. Skating with a puck will become easier throughout the program.
The sessions offer different moves on the ice, by way of a European touch.
Participants will have a chance to skate with regular 6 ounce pucks and
occasionally with the orange 10 ounce pucks.
The sessions are a great way to maintain good physical conditioning and
offer an overall training for the hockey players. Reasonable training
guidelines require a high intensity rate and a good balance of energy
during the sessions.
Our structured environment offers a specific discipline for participants, which allows them to benefit a maximum learning experience. Each session has been carefully prepared taking in consideration the different age groups, their level of experience and number of participants on the ice to create a fun while at the same time a learning environment.
It will be a pleasure for me to assist and help your child improve his skating skills during my next power skating sessions or during my hockey school which is being offered this summer at the Ray Friel Recreation Complex in Orleans.

Wednesday - (October 3 - December 12, 2012)

5:30 - 6:30 pm
10 sessions $210 HST included or $23 HST included for pay as you go.
(No session on October 31st for Halloween)
2013 WINTER SESSIONS
Wednesday - (January 9 - March 6, 2013)
Ray Friel Recreation Complex - Ice pad 3
5:30 - 6:30 pm
9 sessions $189 HST included or $23 HST included for pay as you go.
